Erhverv Aarhus (Business Network Aarhus) is dedicated to the growth of Aarhus. The framework conditions for doing business in the city have to be attractive for both local, regional, national, and international businesses – now and in the future.
Our members and board of directors have established four areas of interest, which are the focal points of the work and impact of Business Network Aarhus, on behalf of the business community of the city at large.
The business community and Aarhus’ continued development put demands on the city’s infrastructure and traffic mobility on land, at sea, and in the air. The physical, digital and mental infrastructure must accommodate the needs of the business community, and as the city grows so must the infrastructure.
The majority of the business community in Aarhus has international contacts or employees. Aarhus has to accommodate the business community’s need for skilled, international labour and must be improved to be among the most attractive career destinations for international employees and the families.
The role of Aarhus as a city of knowledge and education has a significant impact on the growth of the city and the business community’s competitiveness. The balance between education and the business community’s needs for skilled and innovative employees is a vital condition for continued growth and development.
Aarhus’ rich cultural life and broad branches of sports makes the city attractive for businesses, employees, newcomers, and tourists. Cooperation between business, culture, and sports develops the city and contributes to mutual growth.
